Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Last updated: 8 May 2026
This statement is made on behalf of Pentiq Limited and is published in line with the principles and expectations of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Pentiq is committed to conducting its business in an ethical and responsible manner. Pentiq has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking.
Pentiq is committed to taking reasonable and proportionate steps to help prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and, so far as practicable, in its supply chain.
OUR BUSINESS
Pentiq is a UK‑based cyber security provider specialising in penetration testing and related assurance services. We support organisations across a wide range of sectors by helping them identify, understand, and reduce cyber security risks.
Our operations are predominantly professional‑services‑based, delivered by our in‑house consultants and a small number of approved specialist partners. We do not manufacture goods or operate in industries traditionally associated with high risk of forced labour.
OUR SUPPLY CHAINS
Pentiq’s supply chain is primarily made up of professional services, software and cloud providers, communications providers, recruitment support, training providers, equipment suppliers and other business support services.
Pentiq does not operate manufacturing facilities and does not generally procure goods from complex or high-volume manufacturing supply chains as part of its ordinary business activities.
Pentiq recognises, however, that modern slavery risks can arise at different levels of a supply chain, particularly where labour practices are not readily visible.
OUR APPROACH
Pentiq seeks to reduce the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking through reasonable and proportionate measures, including where appropriate:
- selecting suppliers and service providers carefully;
- undertaking supplier onboarding and review activities appropriate to the nature of the service being provided;
- requiring suppliers to comply with applicable laws;
- maintaining internal reporting routes for concerns relating to unlawful or unethical conduct; and
- applying recruitment and employment practices intended to support lawful and fair working arrangements.
This approach is supported by Pentiq’s supplier onboarding, subcontractor assessment, and contractual requirements, which may include obligations relating to lawful and ethical labour practices.
Pentiq does not knowingly engage with any business or organisation involved in slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking.
EMPLOYMENT AND RECRUITMENT
Pentiq is committed to fair and lawful employment practices.
Pentiq seeks to ensure that persons engaged by it work voluntarily, are subject to lawful terms, and are treated fairly and with dignity.
Where applicable, Pentiq carries out right to work checks and other pre-engagement checks required by law or considered appropriate for the relevant role or engagement.
DUE DILIGENCE AND RISK
Pentiq applies a risk-based and proportionate approach to supplier and business risk.
In assessing relevant third parties, Pentiq may take into account the nature of the services supplied, the location of the supplier, the extent of subcontracting, and any other risk indicators considered relevant in the circumstances.
Where a higher level of risk is identified, Pentiq may seek further information or assurance before entering into, renewing or continuing the relevant relationship.
GOVERNANCE AND POLICIES
Pentiq’s wider governance and compliance arrangements support this statement, including its contractual controls, staff responsibilities, internal reporting arrangements and other operational policies and procedures relevant to lawful and responsible business conduct.
Responsibility for this statement sits with Pentiq’s senior management, with board oversight.
TRAINING AND AWARENESS
Pentiq expects its personnel to act with integrity and to raise concerns where they become aware of conduct that may be unlawful, unethical or inconsistent with this statement.
Pentiq will keep under review the extent to which additional awareness or training is appropriate for those involved in supplier engagement, recruitment and management responsibilities.
REVIEW
Pentiq will review this statement at least annually and may update it at any time to reflect changes to its business, operations or supply chain.
