Always interested in good testers.

Pentiq isn’t running open public hiring rounds at the moment. That doesn’t mean we’re closed: we always want to hear from offensive security people who’ve earned their CREST stripes, or who are on the path and want to accelerate.

What we look for

  • Curiosity over credentials. Certifications matter (CREST, OSCP, OSEP, GIAC), but write-ups, CVE work, CTF placements, and a track record of asking “but what if…” matter more.
  • Reports people actually use. Pentiq reports go to customers, auditors, insurers, and boards. If you can write like a human and explain risk without jargon-dumping, you’ll do well here.
  • Peer review as a habit. Every report is reviewed by a second senior tester before it leaves. We expect testers to want feedback on their work, and to give it generously.
  • UK or Canada base. Our consultants work from the UK and Canada. Most engagements are remote, with occasional on-site delivery.
